The solution
Loading capability integrated into the wagon.
Traditional rail transport of complete heavy vehicles often requires dedicated terminals, external ramps, large cranes or other specialised transshipment equipment. Interwagon changes the loading model by integrating the loading function directly into the rail wagon.
How it works
How the concept works.
- 01
Positioning
The wagon is positioned at a suitable rail-connected loading location.
- 02
Preparation
The loading platform and integrated ramps are positioned for loading.
- 03
Direct loading
The vehicle is driven directly from ground level onto the wagon.
- 04
Transport position
The platform is returned to transport position and secured before rail transport.

Practical difference
What the solution can reduce.
- Fixed loading terminals
- Large external cranes
- Separate loading ramps
- Extensive transshipment work
- Concentration around a limited number of logistics nodes
This gives customers greater freedom to plan routes, loading locations and transport arrangements.
